Resell ebooks on eBay?

I wanted to create an listing, $0.99, for an ebook that I purchased resale rights to. Then, I want to automate the listing, so once its sold, its relisted, so essentially it does all the work.

Does anyone have any experience in this? Any suggestions are welcome.

what to sell at a flea market?

I was looking for an out of the box idea about something to sell each week at a flea market. (I wish their was a way to raffle items off). Can I sell a cd of an ebook if the rights to resell came with it? What would interest many people in the current economic condition we are in? Thank you all for your answers.

You need the resell rights. When you buy the ebook, check if it comes with resell rights, most of them do.

Can I resell ebooks ?

I have seen lots of ebooks on ebay with traders advertising that they have resell rights. Does this mean I can just buy their ebook and resell it on ebay with no comebacks? There dosen’t appear to be copyrights on these cook ebooks and I;m wondering how some sellers can say that they have resell, does it mean they are the author of the ebook? please advise

Precisely what rights the buyer of an ebook has depends on the terms of the license granted by the ebook publisher. Most will not include the right to sell the ebook. So if you buy an ebook on ebay, where the seller’s license did not allow him to resell, you do not have the right to resell either.

Here’s part of an ebook license:

Publisher has authorized download by you of one copy of the electronic book (ebook). Publisher grants you a nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the ebook according to the terms and conditions herein. This License Agreement permits you to install the ebook for your use only.

2. Restrictions
You shall not: (1) resell, rent, assign, timeshare, distribute, or transfer all or part of the ebook or any rights granted hereunder to any other person; (2) duplicate the ebook, except for a single backup or archival copy; (3) remove any proprietary notices, labels, or marks from the ebook ; (4) transfer or sublicense title to the ebook to any other party.

So as you can see, the ebay reseller would be violating the terms of his license if he sold you the ebook he bought with this license.

ebooks are copyrighted. The author owns the right to sell the ebook, unless he transfers that right to someone else (like an ebook publisher for example).

Hi,

It really depends on the price of the eBook and Software itself. But it’s definitely worth it as you only need to purchase the license once and you can sell it unlimitedly. No Packing, No Shipping. I would say it’s very efficient

Do a further research on the products that you are going to sell before making any purchase.
